Urban Reformation

Somehow the farce of global warming came to mind this morning. I say a farce, because we as Christians should know the Word well enough to refute such man-made things. Man is fickle. One day butter is good for you, the next it’s worse than radon. We can’t make up our minds about anything, hence the dilemma of a double minded person.

In Genesis 8:22 it states:

22 “While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”

Makes it pretty clear that cold weather isn’t going anywhere as long as the earth is here, eh?

Of course the result of the so-called global warming is the melting of the ice caps, thus drowning us, kinda like that foolish movie that came out a few years ago “Waterworld.” Again, scripture refutes this in Genesis 9:11 after which He gives us confirmation of this promise with the rainbow.

11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

It’s critical we evaluate everything we hear in light of scripture.
