Being Transformed
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:1-2“
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
-2 Corinthians 3:18
“For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” -1 Timothy 4:8
When our Lord laid down the charter for the kingdom of heaven, He chose that His people, that they should be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. This was to be kingdom-style of life by which the heavenly Father would be truly glorified.
In the above passages we are admonished by the Apostle Paul to the believers, to be transformed by the renewal of our mind and in this transformation we are encouraged onward toward Godliness.
This high standard lays a hold of the high purpose for which God has called us out of darkness into the kingdom of light and new life. God underscores that all of life belongs to Him, it is completely dependent on His grace, and therefore is to be lived every day and everywhere before Him.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

How do you do this in a practical sense? There are no 7 easy steps, there is no substitution for spending time with God, I fail often but it is my hope to be more faithful, and more diligent here all the time.

- Reading the word daily
- Fellowship with other believers

- Telling others about Christ
